Hiking Black River Cypress Preserve

Guided by a BRCP employee, participants will hike a portion of the preserve and visit some of the diverse ecosystems it has to offer!  Fresh water swamps and upland forests await those who want to explore by foot.  This 2.5 hour event will cover about 3 miles of either crushed granite or grassy trails.  Bring your own water, wear sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather in comfortable layers.  Gates open at 9:30, hike starts at 10:00 when the front gate is locked.  Late comers will not be admitted.  This event is limited to 15 participants and is free of charge.
